This project in Maroubra is one of our favourites here at Growing Rooms Landscapes and Pools. The homeowners wanted a space that was modern, elegant, family-friendly, and perfect for entertaining. With a love for swimming and outdoor living, they needed a garden that offered privacy, calm, and a seamless flow between relaxation and fun.

In Dover Heights, just a short drive from Bondi, we transformed this outdoor space into a private coastal retreat. Designed and built by Growing Rooms Landscapes & Pools, the garden now features a resort-style pool, a poolside cabana for entertaining, and layers of tropical greenery. Every element was crafted to reflect the relaxed sophistication of Sydney’s east while creating a space that feels both welcoming and luxurious.

Our Cronulla project, designed in collaboration with the outstanding architects from Vitale Design, is a celebration of colour, contrast, and coastal living. From the first step through the front garden to evenings under feature lighting in the rear, this home is a perfect example of how thoughtful landscape design can transform the everyday.

When our long-term maintenance clients bought their new residence in Clovelly, they approached us for a complete redesign of the front and rear garden. We were thrilled to create a welcoming front garden and to maximise the usable space in the rear with the adding of an elegant alfresco area and a new pool.

This hilltop garden captures sweeping vistas over Rose Bay and Double Bay while creating a tranquil sanctuary tailored to its Bellevue Hill setting.

When the owners of this beautiful Hunters Hill residence approached Growing Rooms they were looking to create another room to house for entertaining. The space between the rear of the house, off of the kitchen, and the carport gave us the perfect backbones to achieve this. We built a pause space for the family to relax and unwind all year round.

After downsizing from a rural property, the owners moved to the city to be closer to the family.

An outstanding example of blending heritage charm with modern finesse right in the heart of Inner City Sydney. The clients loved their original sandstone wall and rustic elements, but wanted a garden that felt current, elegant, and functional — especially for compact urban living in Surry Hills.
