The owners of this open-plan home love their ocean views, so preserving them came first.
To preserve and enhance these fantastic views the Growing Rooms team framed the terraces with pots using coastal plants to withstand the salty air. This planting theme was continued through the beautiful wrap-around planter beds that surround the house.
The heart of this garden design is the seamless connection between the interior and exterior at the back. A comfortable outdoor lounge area right next to the kitchen and dining area doubles the living space.
The tropical ‘Bali’ style planting and the Atlantis style pots that pick up on the copper and hardwood in the house complete the look. Attached to the lounge area the plunge pool with built-in seating and a granite wall cladding provides a refreshing retreat from the hot summer sun.
Ambient lighting throughout the night-time garden creates a welcoming, soothing place to unwind.
